Being in the industry since forever, I know how hard it is to earn through art. Some people don't really see the importance or essence of it. Some even say "Madali lang yan gawin." I often hear this a lot and I find it ironic that the people who say it are actually the ones who cannot do it or does not even have the balls to try it. So here you are, reading my post hoping to find out what explanation I have to this. Well, there is really no deep explanation. I am only going to share what I learned from all the experiences I had.

1. Friends. These of all people. They are your number one "libra nalang hairdo" or "thank you sa layout ha?". Your friends should be supporting you in the first place, but how is that possible when all they do is have a piece of your precious time in exchange for nothing? Do not get me wrong. I love my friends (some of you might be reading this right now hahaha), but sometimes, we need to scratch the idea of friendship and actually do what is needed to be done.

2. "Possible Clients". These people are the type of people who wants to "test" your skills and talent "before they will hire you for the bigger event/thing", of course, you'll do everything to earn and having a sure client is a plus! So after everything you've done you'll earn nothing because after all it's a "testing" but that's okay because you'll earn something for the bigger even anyway. Lo and behold, the bigger event never really reached you. So, for short, they didn't like your work and they didn't event tell you. Yep, I can relate, friends. *pats back*

3. The last but not the least--Family. I know, I know. This is because when there's a event or something, your family taps you because well, what better way to share your talent. And in return you get no pay, just a couple of "wows", "good jobs" and again "thank yous". But that's okay, they're family anyway.

If you're at the point of this post, wow. You survived all my nonsense back there. You might think that based from this post, I demand a lot of pay by venting out and posting this. Well, no.  After all we're just kids who wants to share our talents and skills to the world, but sometimes the universe conspires against us. After all, we do everything for the love of art!

I really don't know how to start this post because I've got a lot of things in my mind right now. This summer has been so epic because I took summer classes to cope up with the subjects that I failed on the last few semesters. Yes, I'm not a good student. I skip classes, procrastinate a lot, doesn't study lectures and many other things that doesn't make a student a good student.

Studying during the summer made my summer hectic. I've been into a lot of things lately and I can't manage my time so I ended up having messy schedules. I suck at time management but I'm trying to do it. I took three subjects and I only passed one.

Ohmylord. I don't know what to do, but everything's gonna be okay, I know.

So now that regular classes are back, I can't help but compare summer class to it. First thing, summer classes suck, because I didn't get to spend them with my classmates. We aren't required to take summer classes so it was supposed to be a free time but, being the student that I am, I had to retake some subjects for me to cope up and hopefully graduate on time.  Next thing is, only few people go to school during the summer, so even on the peak hours, the school feels so dead and there was a time I didn't see anybody in the building I was into, not until I reached my classroom, feels weird right? Last thing is... I RAN OUT OF CLOTHES. Yes, I did. I mean, who wouldn't? Our school has this weird dress code where women are prohibited to wear leggings and ripped jeans but dresses and skirts that are above the knee were allowed. Yes, I wore dresses during the summer because I had no choice, water rationing was at its peak and I can't find any other thing to wear.

So yep, that's basically what this post is about. Welcome back to school, everyone!!

This is something we all have.

Due to the changing times and advancement of technology, being digitally active is not hard that even toddlers of this era are. Being digitally active is not only about having social media accounts or whatnot. It is when one uses a digital platform, he/she already has a digital citizenship. When we take pictures of babies or children using smartphones, when kids play arcade, they already are people of the digital world.

We won't be somebody in the digital world if we don't have access to it. So here, I am talking about digital access. These times are easy when it come to this because it's like everything comes in digital form, even the society. Yes, you read it right.

This virtual world is upon us. Everything that happens can be recorded digitally or something like that. Imagine if we didn't have these access, would history be accurate?

Even though we already have this access, we should still be responsible in everything that we do in side and outside the digital world. They may be different but they are so much similar in so many ways. Things can affect anybody in this world, especially words. One spark can start a fire, folks! So always remember to be a responsible somebody in this world full of carelessness and hate.
